Legacy of the Spice Route
Our story is rooted in the very beginning of the global spice route. In 1497, European explorers set sail in search of the Malabar Coast—drawn by tales of rare botanicals growing in sacred green hills drenched by monsoons. These hills, now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, are home to some of the world’s richest biodiversity and most prized spice estates. Restelo Malabar is born from this legacy—where ancient soils and timeless trade meet to craft products worthy of history.
